The National Hurricane Center reported that Tropical Storm Leslie is strengthening over the tropical Atlantic.
The center of Leslie is located approximately 1060 miles East of the Windward Islands and has maximum sustained winds of 45 mph. She is moving West near 21 mph. Leslie is expected to turn toward the West-Northwest and move at a slower pace. She will then move Northeast of the Lesser Antilles.
Leslie is expected to become a hurricane within the next two days.
There are currently no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
