Isaac is slowing weakening as it moves over northern Louisiana.  Heavy rains and flooding continue across southeastern Louisiana and Mississippi.

At 4:00 PM CDT, the center of Tropical Depression Isaac was located about 35 miles West-Northwester of Monroe, Louisiana.  Isaac has maximum sustained winds of 35 mph and is moving North-Northwest at 12 mph.  A turn toward the north is expected by late tonight or early Friday.  The center of the storm will continue to move over Louisiana today and then over Arkansas on Friday and southern Mississippi Friday night.

Isaac is expected to become a post-tropical depressions remnant low-pressure system by Saturday.

Isaac is still expected to produce rainfall from 7 to 14 inches over northern and eastern Louisiana, Mississippi and southwest Alabama.  Rainfalls of 3 to 6 inches are possible across Arkansas and into southern Missouri through Friday.  These rains could result in flooding.  Heavy rain potential will be spreading eastward this weekend into portions of the Mid West and Ohio Valley region.

All coastal warning for Isaac have been discontinued.
