Seismologists report a shallow 3.2 magnitude earthquake shook northern parts of California.
The quake occurred at 8:29 p.m. at a depth of just 0.6 miles.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the epicenter at 3 miles from East Quincy, 31 miles from Susanville and 81 miles from Carson City, Nevada.
It was the third earthquake of magnitude 3.0 or greater in the area in the last 10 days, the USGS said.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
