The National Hurricane Center reported that Tropical Storm Nadine became a hurricane again for the second time.    

The center of Hurricane Nadine is located near latitude 29.6 North and Longitude 24.7 West (approximately 730 SW of the Azores).

Nadine is moving toward the Northwest near 8 mph and is expected to turn toward the North-Northwest tonight.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to 75 mph with higher gusts.  Hurricane force winds extend outward up to 30 miles from the center and tropical force winds extend outward up to 140 miles from the center.

Nadine strengthened to a Category One hurricane overnight.  Additional strengthening is possible through Friday.

There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect at this time.
