The National Hurricane Center reported Isaac was downgraded to a tropical storm.

The storm has maximum sustained winds of 70 mph and is moving northwest at 6 mph.  Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 175 miles from the center of the storm.

All hurricane warnings and watches have been discontinued.  A tropical storm warning is in effect from Cameron, Louisiana to the Alabama-Florida border.  Even though Isaac is no longer a hurricane, life threatening hazards from storm surge and inland flooding are still occurring.
