The Great ShakeOut began in Southern California in 2008 and has since spread to other states and other countries. Each drill is coordinated by regional organizations, which work together by sharing resources, best practices, and more.
If you would like to participate but are not in one of these areas, you can register for a drill near you, or for a drill on a date that works best for you. Each drill has many participants registered from other areas.
